Failure On a September morning in 1929, Alexander Fleming sat at his work bench at St. Mary's Hospital with his family. Before he had left on vacation, Fleming had piled a number of his Petri dishes to the side of the bench. On going to his vacation. Those Petri dishes had created a mold. The discovery of Penicillin. The discovery of penicillin? You may ask how. In 1929 Alexander Fleming was trying to discover a cure for bacteria. By mistake of bad house cleaning. A mold occurs on a old test sample. Amazingly a outbreak in discovery happens. So by this great accident, comes a great cure. This shows how mistakes can bring success. Just like Lewis Thomas said. Failure I’ve seen with my own eyes. Is my brother Fernando’s mistakes. He is my older brother. After high school my brother started experimenting with drugs. I was in elementary school around this time. If u were to ask me what I remember from this time. I could say alot. I remember him being gone for nights, the police knocking on our door, and alot more. He was a big failure to my parents. He learned from his mistakes though. My brother left to rehab for a while. When he came back he changed alot and is know a great person. A mistake I have seen would be my dad. Of course at the end he fixed his problems. My dad had trouble with his bills. My mom always got mad at him. He barrowed alot from people most of the time. Whenever my mom asked him if he paid the bills he would lie, and say no. Now my dad has a new job making alot of money. And he has learned from that mistake. In conclusion, failure or mistakes can always change you or bring success. So how Alexander Fleming came up with a great cure. My brother and my dad came up with a new lifestyle. ” I Believe “
